Customer research: a vital part of your business

Can you use AI to do customer research?

Hey prompters!

As promised, I posted a thread on how to build your course faster with AI.

If you’re building any type of course (for yourself or for your company), that thread will help you build it 5 times faster.

ChatGPT can help with customer research, outlining, writing copy for your landing page, etc.

Now let’s talk about…

The Biggest Things In AI Recently

1️⃣ Some Canadian teachers & professors are embracing AI (link). I love to see this. We’re going to be living in this world anyway - might as well educate the kids to equip themselves with technology (and not avoid it).

2️⃣ Stable diffusion seeks to raise at a $4b valuation (link).

Let’s get into the prompt for today… 👇

Prompt: Customer Research At Your Fingertips

I have a simple one to start off the week!

The best way to do customer research (for your course, software, service) is to talk to existing or potential customers.

But how do we make it faster? And make sure we don’t miss anything important?

We use AI.

Look at this example:

The prompt is simple.

Put the topic. And then ask for a list of desires (desired outcomes) for customers looking to achieve the above topic.

If you spoke to your customers, you’d learn most of the points in the list.

But sometimes, some points get more emphasis than others (because they might be more crucial or more desired outcomes). However, it’s important to not disregard others.

That’s what AI helps with.

Try It For Yourself

Copy the prompt below:

Topic: writing online

Provide a succinct list of the desires that customers looking to achieve the above topic will have.
